John Kyper moved to Headingly in 1933. He established Green Valley Market Garden. His son Jo took over in 1940. They had 7 greeenhouses and would transplant in the spring when they would be put under tens. They were one of the original Peak of the market and contract with Campbell Soup Co, Jo sold the land in 1975 but continued to live there until planting the last crop in 1994 when he moved.
