Schools

The first Headingley Holy Trinity Anglican church was built in 1854. It was log and plaster construcion under the leadership of Rev. Corbett. This picture was taken in the 1860th. The first gentleman on the left was Alex Clouston, the teacher at that time. Hon. John Taylor, standing in the door was the first teacher for this school.
