Holy Trinity Cemetery - Located where the first mission holy trinity anglican church was located

Presbyterian / United Church built in 1911 on Dodds Road replacing church built in 1854 trustees James Black, Merchant, Harry Francis, Merchant. And James Duncan, village of West Winnipeg in 1956 the congregation gathered to celebrate the new addition to the front of the church for choir and furnace.

In 1967 land was donated on Bridge Road to the United Church by the John Taylor Family, sod turning event included John Curry with Margaret Taylor and Blanche Taylor

Members of the United Church congregation were glad that the church would be safe as the beams were cracked. No room for Sunday School, no basement or bathroom.

1967, the church was moved onto a basement with addition to back for office and choir and front for reception area.

1981, 70th anniversary of the church. Service was held to thank Margaret Taylor and family for their gift of the land at this new site. Accepting John Curry and Margaret Taylor.

1991, basement expanded for space and furnace. Back of sanctuary was removed and space added to the sanctuary. Reception area added with new entry way into church as it stands today. (changed to end)

In 2018, St Charles sold their church and joined Headingley. During those years they had shared many services and special events.

Headingly Historical Society

The Headingley Historical Society is on Treaty 1 Territory and the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples and is the Homeland of the Métis Nation.
